Marikina's pride, Mathew Sygal So, is full of hope about representing his home city in the upcoming Mister International Philippines.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com and other media recently, the 19-year-old aspiring titleholder admitted that he doesn't have any experience about male pageantry.
“The way this happened was my family and friends just suddenly convinced me to go and I was like, why not try it. I thought it could be a good exposure. So, I jumped out of my comfort zone and auditioned. Luckily enough, I was chosen as a representative of Marikina,” said Mathew, who is currently a BS Management Engineering student at the Ateneo de Manila University.
He also thought that joining Mister International Philippines would be a good opportunity to push further his advocacies.
The young lad said, “With my joining the Mister International, it allows me to develop myself, to be exposed not only to entertainment business but also to other sectors such as PWDs and other advocacies that I am fond of.”
