Girls' Generation's Taeyeon amazed by the energy of PH SONEs at her Manila concert

Girls' Generation leader Taeyeon enchanted her fans during her "The ODD of Love" concert in Manila held at the Araneta Coliseum last July 30.
In a recent video on her YouTube channel, Taeyeon shared her behind-the-scenes preparations for the concert.
The SNSD member said, "I came to Manila for a different occasion. I performed here, I loved the response from the audience then. The atmosphere was so nice, I really wanted to do a concert here. I said I wanted to come again to Manila for a concert. I guess it was an unofficial promise? Or just an outright promise? Anyway, I made a promise so here I am."
Taeyeon was also surprised at the energy Filipino SONEs showed throughout the concert. "I guess this is why we have standing seats, the fans are absolutely loving it," She joked, "I thought we were at a club."
Towards the end of her vlog, Taeyeon gave a message to her fans after her Manila concert. "My dear fans, my Manila SONEs, thank you so much. Thank you for giving me happy memories. Let's meet again."
In 2007, Taeyeon debuted as a member of SNSD or Girls' Generation under SM Entertainment. She sang for the soundtrack of several dramas including Eternity, Hong Gil Dong, and Beethoven Virus. She also appeared in the theater musical A Song to the Sun in 2010 where she played the lead role.
She released her first solo project, her debut EP titled I, in October 2015. This is her first of several solo EPs including Why (2016), My Voice (2017), This Christmas: Winter is Coming (2017), Something New (2018), Purpose (2019), and What Do I Call You (2020).
In May 2023, she announced her fifth concert tour "The ODD of Love" which kickstarted in Seoul back in June.
