The 'Beautiful Strangers' star, Lovi Poe, posted a photo on Instagram to share a picture from her new indie film "Lakambini."

The 'Beautiful Strangers' star Lovi Poe posted on Instagram a still photo from her new indie film "Lakambini."
The film will breathe life to the story of the "Lakambini" Gregoria de Jesus also known as Oriang. Lovi will play the part of the titular character and she will star opposite Rocco Nacino who will play Andres Bonifacio, Oriang's first husband. Aside from Rocco, Paulo Avelino is also present and he will be portraying Julio Nakpil, Oriang's second husband.
Hopefully, this upcoming film will influence the already growing curiosity of our youth when it comes to our own history.
