Kapuso stars Rocco Nacino and Heart Evangelista may be paired in the primetime soap Beautiful Strangers, but they are with their respective romantic partners in real life.

 

In fact, the hunk actor is in a relationship with actress Lovi Poe who’s also part of the TV series and paired with Kapuso actor, Benjamin Alves.

 

How do they deal with the situation? “Just being passionate about my work. [Ang] ginagawa ko, when [Lovi and I are] together, masaya kami pero kapag nasa set kami, hinihiwalay ko ‘yun. I focus on my character and Heart’s character. It’s part of the job eh,” the multi-awarded actor said in an interview with GMANetwork.com during the Kapuso Christmas station ID shoot.

The Chinita actress who just launched her beauty book still feels awkward kissing her close friend, "Rocco’s fine. He knows I’m shy so when he’s about to kiss me, nako-conscious din siya kasi nahihiya din siya. I’m just lucky I don’t have so many kissing scenes with Rocco ‘cause I really cringe.”

 

She added Lovi makes it easier for them, “It’s awkward, especially me, but Lovi’s so liberated like she’s so open-minded. Whenever I would have a kissing scene, she’ll be like ‘Uy, nahihiya!’ ‘cause she knows when I’m nahihiya. But, she [doesn’t give a fuss] about it so okay lang sa kanya, parang naging normal na siya.”

For someone who has dedicated half of her life in showbiz, she considers the set as “maganda ang environment.” Heart doesn’t feel like she’s at work, “I love it because we’re all super supportive with each other. It’s inspiring to work with your really good friends.”

Rocco feels the same way, “Lahat kami close sa isa’t isa so it’s easy to connect with each other pagdating sa mga eksena. Another thing is, magaan ‘yung set kaya it’s very smooth flowing lagi.”
