Kapuso comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto was hailed as the Best Comedy Actress for her exceptional performance in the longest-running Pinoy gag show, Bubble Gang, at the 29th PMPC Star Awards for TV.

Rufa Mae took to Instagram today (December 4) to thank the award-giving body for the recognition and vowed to continue to make televiewers happy in the years to come. 

“Pmpc , Star awards- Thanks for believing in me, that I can give happiness, I promise in This new generation I will introduduce [sic] my new brand of happiness! If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride - and never quit, you'll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards. In an exclusive interview by GMA Network.com with the talented actress last October, Rufa Mae credited Bubble Gang for all the trophies she received as a comedienne. "Pero as a comedian ang type ko talaga mag-spoof ng iba’t ibang tao 'di ba and because of Bubble Gang I was able to get mga eight to nine awards as Best Comedy Actress for Bubble Gang, so it is really something 'di ba,” she said.

In addition, Rufa Mae also expressed her gratitude to actor Enrique Gil for being a true gentleman as he helped her get up on stage during the awards ceremony.
