Aside from being a “matinee idol,” Elyson de Dios also once hoped to become a professional basketball player. So I want to continue his dreams po.”

He even confessed that he didn’t want to pursue show business before joining StarStruck. He explains, “First time ko dito sa Manila nung nag-audition ako. I’m so lucky po.

But despite thinking that his skills are lacking, the artista hopeful was still able to make it this far. He elaborates, “Pero nung pinili pa rin 'yung mga top boys sa ranking, ako pa rin 'yung first.”

He also says that he enjoys singing. He quips, “I love to sing sa CR.”
