As the year comes to an end, Kapuso actress Chynna Ortaleza took a moment to look back at the year that was. One of her favorite blessings was getting to portray Batchi Luna in the GMA Telebabad show, The Rich Man’s Daughter.

Batchi became the foster parent of her partner Abby’s daughter from a previous relationship. The empowered woman remained strong and positive despite the negative comments she received from outsiders.

“Starting to look back at 2015 and feeling humbled by all the incredible blessings He has bestowed upon me. The first major gift was the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream role and breahe life into one of my most dynamic and human characters ever – Batchi,” she wrote.

Even after several months since the show ended, she is still filled with gratefulness to the people who have made her scoring the role possible.

"Thank you to the whole The Rich Man’s Daughter family for giving me this chance. To GMA Network and GMA Artist Center for the trust and continuous love,” Chynna added.

She counts herself blessed to be part of a show that impacted the lives of many people, most especially the LGBT community.

“…To all our TRMD friends who allowed us into their lives and lived the dream with us. Salamat sa pakikiisa at pagpapalaya. Higit sa lahat, salamat din sa pagtanggap at sa walang sawang suporta,” she concluded.
