
Your Noche Buena leftovers can be transformed into a hearty soup!
Ingredients:
Leftover chicken (5 pcs.)
Bread cut into cubes
Thinly sliced ham (200g)
Heavy cream (125ml)
Chicken stock (500ml)
Minced onion (1 large pc.)
Minced garlic (50g)
Chopped carrots (2 pcs.)
Minced celery (100g)
oil for sautéing
Salt
Pepper
Parsley for garnish
Procedure:
1. Shred chicken and remove skin.
2. Cut bread into cubes.
3. Cut ham thinly.
4. Sauté garlic and onions.
5. Add celery.
6. Add carrots.
7. Pour chicken stock. Wait for it to boil.
8. Pour heavy cream.
9. Add bread to soup.
10. Season with salt and pepper.
11. Add the shredded chicken.
12. Add the ham.
