South Korean girl group 2NE1 finally released the official poster for their upcoming reunion concert following their return to YG Entertainment.
On Thursday morning, July 25, YG Entertainment announced the details for the anticipated reunion concert of 2NE1, titled WELCOME BACK IN SEOUL.
2NE1 will kick off their WELCOME BACK tour on October 5 and 6, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Olympic Park's Olympic Hall in Seoul.
Of course, BLACKJACKS worldwide celebrated the return of 2NE1 to the K-pop scene after their disbandment in 2016.
Its member, Sandara Park, also reposted the poster and said, “Concert to celebrate 15 years of 2NE1 and Black Jack.”
She also looked back on the beginning of 2NE1 and felt sentimental about WELCOME BACK's venue since it was the venue for their first-ever concert as a group.
Instagram's rough translation also said: “I'm expecting intense ticketing, but I wanted to meet [...] this year, and it's the Olympic Hall where we held our first concert, so it's more meaningful and exciting.”
“Now it's a new beginning again, so let's go on a tour well this time and go to Seoul,” Sandara ended her statement.
YG Entertainment announced their return to the company as a group last Monday, July 22, with a poster that said “Welcome back, 2NE1.”
Since then, it has caused a frenzy among K-pop fans, especially when Sandara Park opened a conversation about possibly performing in the Philippines as part of their reunion tour.
“Marami pa bang PH Blackjacks?! That is one of my [wishes] syempre,” Sandara replied to a fan who expressed their wishes to see the group in the Philippines.
However, there is no information yet about additional stops for 2NE1's WELCOME BACK tour.
