Paris 2024 Olympians with Filipino heritage

Aside from the 22 athletes representing the Philippines at the Paris 2024 Olympics, seven other athletes representing other countries have Filipino heritage.

Jake Jarman, the Filipino-British gymnast who won bronze medal in floor exercise, the same event Carlos Yulo won his first gold medal, lived in the Philippines for two years between the ages of three and five.

In fact, in one of his Instagram stories posted during the Paris 2024 Olympics, Jake shared his photo wearing a "Jake Loves Cebu" shirt.

Two Filipina athletes who now represent other countries once represented the Philippines in international stage. Japanese golfer Yuka Saso once bannered the Philippine flag and fencer Maxine Esteban used to play for the Philippines before playing for Ivory Coast.
