The secret is out!
After hinting about their big announcement, The Blackman Family surprised Filipino fans that they are now artists of GMA Network's talent management arm, Sparkle.
The Australia-based content creator made it official by signing a deal with Sparkle today, October 8, in a contract signing ceremony held at GMA main building mezzanine.
Present at the event were GMA Network's Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films na si Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and First Vice President of Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Talent Development & Management Joy Marcelo.
The Blackman family consists of Filipino mother Jeraldine, Australian father Joshua, and their kids, Nimo and Jette.
They gained popularity on social media because of their daily updates in an entertaining way.
Currently, the Blackman family has a massive online presence with 3 million followers on Instagram, 3.1 million followers on TikTok, and 3.7 million followers on Facebook.
Last April, the viral Blackman family visited the Philippines for several brand engagements. They also had a jam-packed meet-and-greet event held at a mall in Taguig City, which coincided with their donation drive.
Last September, they flew back to the country for a campaign for a local barbecue fast-food restaurant chain.
Jeraldine also took the opportunity to bring her husband and children to her hometown in Ifugao.
