Filipino drag queens

Cross-dressing and drag queens have long been a figure in the Philippine entertainment scene, but the past few years has seen Filipino drag queens rise to even greater prominence than ever before.

Drag Race Philippines alums like Marina Summers and Eva Le Queen have made strides in the international drag scene, competing in international competitions like RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World season 2 and RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars, respectively.

The local franchise, Drag Race Philippines, also crowned a new drag superstar in Maxie Andreison, who is no stranger to international competitions herself, having competed in Queen of the Universe.

Filipino drag queens based in other countries also made the news by competing in other franchises of RuPaul's Drag Race.
