The presidential son dedicates the song to his sister, Inday Sara.
Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, son of president-elect Rodrigo Duterte, belted out the song "Before I Let You Go" on the videoke machine, and his online performance has been making rounds on social media.
The owner of the video, Mil Rapinan Tranquilino, was able to capture the bonding moment between Baste and his sister Inday Sara. The video began with Inday Sara prodding Baste to sing her a song along with Hoobastank’s "The Reason." She requested, “I love this song. Sige na, please.”
Baste gave in to her request but he had a different song choice. He sang Freestyle’s original "Before I Let You Go," and his inner rock star didn’t disappoint.
As of this writing, his video has garnered 33,000 likes on Facebook, has been shared 24,653 times and has at almost 6,000 comments.
