"Is he President of ALL or only his friends?" - Jim Paredes

Singer Jim Paredes expressed his frustration on Twitter when news broke out that that there will be a separate inauguration ceremony for President-elect Rodrigo ‘Digong’ Duterte and incoming Vice President Leni Robredo.

Duterte aide says separate inaugural allows Robredo to invite more guests

GMA News online reported that special assistant to President-elect Duterte,  Christopher “Bong” Go said that a joint inauguration will restrict Mrs. Robredo to invite more friends and supporters to celebrate her victory.

Duterte plans a modest and simple inauguration ceremony at the Malacañang Palace on June 30 and only 540 guests will be invited.

Paredes slammed the decision of President-elect Duterte to hold separate inaugurations.

The OPM legend also stressed that Duterte’s good friend Senator Bongbong Marcos will never become Vice President. Robredo edged out Marcos by a slim margin in the May 9 elections.
