Anisama World 2025 made history by bringing Japan's biggest anime music festival to Manila. With beloved anisong artists, huge anime hits, and a lively fan environment, it was a landmark event for local anime culture.
The Anisama World Tour 2025 in Manila featured a powerhouse lineup of eight diverse acts, each bringing their unique sound and anime legacy to the stage of New Frontier Theater on June 7.
Headlining the event was Hiroshi Kitadani, best known for the legendary 'One Piece' opening “We Are!”, he along with the rest of the artists delivered a commanding set filled with anime pride and legacy.
FLOW, beloved for iconic anime hits like “GO!!!” from Naruto and “COLORS” from Code Geass, electrified the crowd with their high-energy rock anthems.
ASH DA HERO followed with a bold mix of rock and hip-hop, performing tracks like “Judgement” and “Beast Mode” from Blue Lock.
Idol-rock unit Ave Mujica, from the BanG Dream! franchise, added a darker, emotional intensity to the night with their dramatic live performance.
Veteran hip-hop group nobodyknows+ brought nostalgic excitement with classics such as “Hero's Come Back!!” from Naruto Shippuden and “Kokoro Odoru” from SD Gundam Force.
Idol and voice actor Toshiya Miyata of Kis-My-Ft2 showed his versatility by bridging pop performance and anime culture, known for his work in Cardfight!! Vanguard and Kinnikuman.
Thai-Japanese anisong singer MindaRyn captured hearts with her soaring vocals, performing fan favorites like “Like Flames” from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Finally, Mayu Maeshima, formerly of MYTH & ROID, enchanted the audience with her hauntingly beautiful voice through songs like “Styx Helix” from Re:Zero and “Katachi” from The Rising of the Shield Hero.
Together, these artists made AniSama's first Manila show an unforgettable night of anime music, emotion, and celebration.
