During the pictorial of ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’ in Vigan, the veteran actor opened up about portraying a ‘good father role’ in the upcoming GMA teleserye.

He explained, “Minsan kasi, good father kasi ako dito. Sometimes 'yung pagiging good is mas mahirap pa sa pagiging bad.”

The actor then elaborated, “You know, ang pagiging bad, minsan meron kang made-develop na mga technique na ‘yun na lang 'yung gagamitin mong technique. But the audience has to feel that you’re [still] a good person. “

Edu then added how viewers are used to seeing him portray an antagonist role more than the opposite. He expounded, “Alam naman ng lahat, eh, na matagal na akong nagko-kontrabida for how many years. It’s nice to be good sometimes.”
