The Sexy Comedienne Ara Mina started in That's Entertainment back in 1986. At that time, she was still using her real name, Hazel Reyes. It was not until she came of age on the silver screen with titillating titles such as Init Sa Tag-Ulan and Maldita that she was finally given the attention she deserved. Since then, she has not stopped starring on projects both in film and television. For her role in Huling Birhen sa Lupa, she bagged the Best Actress award given by the Golden Screen Awards and the FAMAS. "For drama ako, eh. Yung iba, nahihirapan sa drama dahil hindi makaiyak, pero ako, wala namang problema sa (pag-)iyak. Before, nahihirapan rin ako. Nahasa lang rin," she shares. But it is her weekly antics on Bubble Gang that has made her a household name. Ara signed up for Bubble Gang back in 2001, making her the most veteran among all the gorgeous ladies of the show. The time spent making people laugh has given her some insights on the comedy. "Sa comedy, ang pinakamahirap ay 'yung patawanin 'yung tao. Kailangan magaling 'yung timing mo. Kung paano mo i-deliver 'yung punch line," she says with a dimpled smile. And while Ara may be more comfortable in drama, she has proven to be worth her salt in any genre. The Young Vixen Cristine Reyes began her career as part of the first batch of StarStruck hopefuls in 2003. As one of the Avengers, she graced many shows with her innocent looks and charming smile. But as she matured, it became more and more evident that this young lady deserved bigger and better roles. In August 2007, she became the cover girl for FHM Philippines. Clad in her leopard print bikini, gone was the naïve teen star wanna-be. In place was a vixen ready to take on the world. In fact, she placed 15th in the 100 Sexiest Women of FHM last year. In a webcast interview on Cristine's FHM shoot from www.gmanews.tv!interview, she clarified her position on whether posing for a men's magazine is art or pornography. "Siyempre para sa akin, hindi siya porn, art iyun. Para ipakita namin kung ano yung meron kami na maganda." But is this the real Cristine? "Kasi kung malalaman mo kung gaano ako ka kulit, well nagkukulitan tayo na seductive kunwari pero pabiro lang yun so talagang nakaka-asiwa," she admits, revealing the kid within the sultry body. Currently, older sister Ara is celebrating the 12th anniversary of Bubble Gang while little sister Cristine will soon be seen on the television version of Joaquin Bordado.
