Kapuso personalities are definitely role models for the Filipino youth. It was announced via social media that many Kapuso stars bagged major plum awards in the 6th EdukCircle Awards.
In a Twitter post, the award-giving body that "recognizes exemplary performances of personalities in news and entertainment whose professional works have made significant contributions to Philippine music, film and television,” announced that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza took home the recognition for Most Influential Celebrity Endorsers of the Year Award and bagged the Special Recognition for Phenomenal Act Award for Tamang Panahon.
