This is the first time that Jersey Boys will be staged in Asia, and it is still running in London's West End.

When it comes to singing, there is no question that Christian Bautista has one of the best voices around. When it comes to dancing however, it's another story.

"Oo naman, alam naman nating lahat 'yun," he quips upon the mention of his difficulty in dancing during the press launch of Jersey Boys. The Tony, Olivier, and Grammy Award-winning musical also stars Nyoy Volante, Nino Alejandro, and Markki Stroem.

But the Asia's Romantic Balladeer is quick to add that he has significantly improved because of their daily rehearsals. "Dahil nga araw-araw naming ginagawa, kaya naman pala! Everyday we sing, we dance, we act the same thing, so talagang mahahasa ka rin.

He also learned that nothing beats working hard when you want to achieve something.

"I really enjoy it kasi all my life, sinasabi sa akin at in-imbibe ko na rin na 'Don't dance.' Pero this musical, pati 'yung dati, 'yung [The] Kitchen Musical, parang pino-prove sa akin na you can do anything that you're not natural in doing with hard work."

This is the first time that Jersey Boys will be staged in Asia, and it is still running in London's West End. Christian can't help but feel the pressure, especially since he was able to watch one of its shows.

Directed by Bobby Garcia, Jersey Boys is produced by Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group, in cooperation with Ten Bridges Media Corp. It will run on all weekends from September 23 to October 16, 2016 at the Meralco Theater, Pasig City. Tickets can be purchased in TicketWorld or Ten Bridges Media Corp.
