In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Maria claimed that she and her managers will leave it to the Bureau of Immigration to take further actions.
Despite her admission that she was disappointed, Japanese star Maria Ozawa will not pursue legal actions against the Bureau of Immigration (BI) worker who leaked her alien card and other confidential details about her stay in the Philippines.
In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Maria claimed that she and her managers will leave it to the BI to take on further actions.
“We believe that Bureau of Immigration will make the necessary actions pertaining to the matter done by one employee and is not representative of the agency as a whole. The management is satisfied with the statements the spokesperson of Bureau of Immigration earlier released regarding the matter,” the post read.
“As a foreign artist working in the Philippines, the management of Maria Ozawa believes that the Bureau of Immigration is a partner agency in the welfare of foreign nationals in the Philippines. We look forward [to] continuously engaging [with] them in a professional manner,” it continued.
Maria took to social media her frustration on Wednesday, September 14 when she found out that a certain BI worker allegedly violated her privacy.
