The Kapuso star collaborated with the company Whiff to come up with her own perfume line called "Linger." 

After working on this project for a year, Heart Evangelista launched her signature scent named "Linger" at a press conference at Aruga by Rockwell on October 12. Heart collaborated with the first Filipino perfumer RJ Lopena and fragrance company Whiff for her fragrance.

She first got the idea to come up with a perfume line when her sister Camille Ongpauco linked her with a close friend who happens to own Whiff.

"My sister Camille is good friends with Mishy Co who's behind Whiff [and] she said that I should come up with a perfume line," Heart said.

Heart believes that scents evoke certain memories in all of us which is why she crafted her perfume with a very special memory in mind, her wedding day.

According to the Kapuso actress, "I think scents as a sense is so important. For me, my inspiration would be memories. Sometimes there's a person that would pass by and you'll remember this distinct memory because of a scent. That was my inspiration [and] that's why we named it Linger. It's a scent that would remind you of a certain moment. For me that would be my wedding. My first note, [is] Lilies of the Valley. 'Yun yung bouquet ko 'nung wedding ko so I wanted to remember that very moment I walked down the isle."

The box art also features one of her paintings that will be part of her 2018 exhibit.

Heart was also happy to have with her husband Senator Chiz Escudero at the event.

Lastly, Heart thanked everyone who has supported her every step of the way. She's also glad that her ventures outside of showbiz and acting are being well-received.

"To do other things aside from what I love the most, which is acting and being in showbiz, I think is part of my growth as a woman, as somebody who's married, and eventually starting a family. I'm very grateful with the people that surround me, they're very supportive. I have so much more to share but we're pacing it. I'm a bit busy but it's good."

Heart's scent, "Linger," will be available on select stores in Rockwell Power Plant Mall and onlinevia Whiff's Instagram account (@whiffofperfume).
