In the United States, Rustom Padilla is now known as BB Gandanghari and acknowledged as a woman.

This year, 49-year-old Rustom Padilla formally filed a petition before the US Court to change his name to BB Gandanghari and his gender from male to female.

After months of waiting, the proud Filipina transgender embraced the "beginning of her forever."

Rustom is now officially named BB Gandanghari and is legally acknowledged as a woman in the United States.

 

This is it! And I thought this day would never come. And I thank my GOD and my LORD for making these things happen. Everything makes sense now... and to this great country the United States of America for providing this #basicrhumanright... Thank you!!! ???????????? #officiallyBBlegallyGandanghari
