Miss Universe 1st Runner-up Raquel Pellisier is in awe of the Filipinos’ love and support for the 65th Miss Universe candidates who are in the country.
During the pre-pageant activities, the candidates roamed around the islands and got to experience the warm hospitality of the Filipinos. The Caribbean beauty said she is at home in the Philippines, and she intends to stay behind to explore her Filipino roots.
“I will come back and stay or probably I will just stay here and don’t come back home because it’s so great. I mean, it’s been awesome, all the love we’ve been receiving,” the Haitian pride told GMANetwork.com.

It’s her first time to visit the country and for her it really is "more fun in the Philippines" because of the locals who made them feel so loved, “It’s something I’ve never seen before ever in any place in the world.”
She got to visit the Queen City of the South as well as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, and if she wishes to stay for good, it would be up north.
The crowd favorite said, “I actually love Baguio because it’s in a mountain, it’s like a different atmosphere, and I really liked it. The landscape [is] beautiful.”
