Ngayong araw (February 27) ginanap ang ika-siyam na Ani ng Dangal awards sa pangunguna ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Layunin ng Ani ng Dangal ang kilalanin ang mga iba't ibang alagad ng sining na tumanggap ng international awards.

Tatlo sa kanilang awardees ay ang mga Kapuso actresses na sina Jaclyn Jose, Barbie Forteza at Therese Malvar.

Masayang tinanggap ni Jaclyn Jose ang kaniyang Ani ng Dangal trophy para sa parangal niya bilang best actress sa Cannes Film Festival para sa pelikulang Ma'Rosa.

Pinarangalan si Barbie dahil sa kaniyang kahanga-hangang pagganap sa pelikulang Laut kung saan siya ay tinanghal na best actress sa Fantasporto Film Festival, Portugal.
