Wednesday mornings were usually a quiet affair—until Zaido Red Aljur Abrenica and Space Cop Kris Bernal crashed with DJ Johnny Baby at the most recent Fanatxt All Stars, the second one for 2008. And though Kris was just about to get over her sickness and Aljur was about to begin his, it still didn’t stop the two from having fun! “Parang magandang start sa 2008,” Aljur said of the whole experience. With Johnny Baby, the two StarStruck graduates touched upon the subject of love, their career, working together, and more! They even got to talk to one of Kris’s avid fans who asked some revealing questions. “Tawa ako ng tawa,” Kris said with a giggle. “Nakakatuwa!” She shared that it was her first guest-appearance where she only had Aljur with her and no other co-stars. Grilled by one of their Fanatxt subscribers, Aljur and Kris escaped barely unscathed. But there were definitely some revelations about the two’s closeness—and not just figuratively! The two really had to be close to each other because they were sharing only one headset. Kris also revealed during the show that she was a big fan of DWLS FM when she was still in school. In fact, it seemed as if Kris herself was star-struck after meeting DJ Johnny Baby. She later squaled, “Ang bait ni DJ John!” The two breezed through the questions, except neither of them could tell the listeners and their fans what new projects are lined up for them. And it’s not that they didn’t want to tell, but because they didn’t know what’s next after Zaido. But whatever project they’re given next, Kris has a wish: “Sana kasama ko pa rin si Aljur.” The two also said that their easiest questions were describing one’s best asset, and thinking of something that reminds them of each other. Kris said that her answers came quick for her, especially when it came to Aljur’s best asset: “Kasi very obvious ‘yung mata niya.” “Ako, kung saan ko siya maituturing,” Aljur continued. During the program, he compared Kris to flowers and other things with a nice smell—to which Kris replied with a laugh, “Sana sinabi mo na lang mabango ako!” With all the energy that the two were exuding, you wouldn’t think they had just recently finished a shoot that took them ‘til morning. But they did. By now you’ve already seen the scene where their characters shared their first kiss, and the two revealed that they shot it in the wee hours of the morning—five in the morning, to be specific. Kris said she was surprised by the sudden twist her character took: from liking Marky Cielo’s character to suddenly becoming Aljur’s. But as they filmed the scenes that lead to Amy’s choice, she understood why Amy no longer liked Alexis. Aljur, on the other hand, was focused only on one thing: the kissing scene. How did they make the mood romantic though they it was only their second day of straight taping? Aljur said, “Natural lang! [Kung ano] ‘yung nararamdaman namin. I mean, ‘yung nararamdaman namin sa eksena.” With a laugh, Kris revealed that she was excited to see how it turned out. Before they left for their respective plans for the day, the two left one last message for their fans: “Sa lahat ng Alkrisians, lahat ng tumatangkilik sa Aljur-Kris love team, maraming salamat!” Kris also mentioned that she would like to thank the iGMA Forum members who never fail to post updates about her and her projects at the forums. Aljur continued, “Sa lahat ng naka-subscribe sa amin ni Kris, tsaka sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa love team namin. Maraming-maraming salamat sa mga sacrifices, sa effort, sa support.
