Noong nakaraang linggo, ginulat ng dating Eat Bulaga dabarkad na si Julia Clarete ang marami nang lumabas ang balita na ikinasal na ito sa kanyang nobyo na si Garreth McGeown.

Nitong Linggo, August 6, nagpaunlak ng exclusive interview si Mrs. McGeown sa Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho at nagkuwento ito tungkol sa desisyon nitong magpakasal.

"Kinulit niya ako [na] magbakasyon... Nag-book sya ng resort, ang ganda-gandang resort. Sa gitna ng Singapore and Malaysia, there's a small, tiny island called Batu Batu. Dapat naisip ko na na may rock na ibibigay," panimula ni Julia.

"Niyakap niya ako from behind tapos mayroon siyang dalang sando, parang plastic bag, sabi niya, 'Jules, we've been together for five years and I think it's time. Will you be my wife?'" dagdag ng retired host.

Kasunod ng proposal ay ang paghahanap ng venue ng kasal. Ang nais ni Julia ay simpleng kasal at reception lamang, pero may ibang idea si Garreth.

"[Sabi niya], 'You're my princess and I want you to have [a] princess-like wedding.' 
So we've looked at castles in Ireland, we went to Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. When we got there, after five minutes, we fell in love with the place. We we're like 'This is where we wanna get married,'" kuwento niya.
