Ever heard of the saying that fathers will never be ready to give their daughters away? It must be partly true for celebrity singer-songwriter Janno Gibbs.
 
A surprise engagement in Mistral Point, Marouba was thrown for her daughter Alyssa “Chi” Gibbs by her boyfriend of four years, Anton Cruz.
 
Janno initially reacted, “My Chi is now engaged!!! WTF?! Hahahaha kidding!” But then, he said in his post that Anton has long been welcome in their family.

Anton had asked mine and @bingloyzaga 's blessings way before our trip. Even his whole family came to Australia for this! With Chi having no clue whatsoever! Anton has long been welcome in our family. Papa is genuinely happy for u My Little Princess ????

Chi’s boyfriend had already asked permission from him and his wife Bing Loyzaga about the engagement. Both sides of the family came to Australia to greet the newly engaged couple.
 
He supports the engagement, “Papa is genuinely happy for [you], My Little Princess.”
 
Celebrities were also surprised and wished the young couple well.
