Kara David’s I-Witness documentary titled “Walang Maiiwan” is recognized as the Outstanding Televised Feature Story on Youth and Education at the 2017 Lasallian Scholarum Awards.

The documentary emerged winner among the nine finalists from GMA Network and GMA News Online for the same category.

Kara dedicates this victory to the teachers and students of Burgos East Elementary School in Alicia, Isabela.

She received the award earlier today, October 23, at the DLSU Manila Campus. This is the fourth time her I-Witness team won the Lasallian Scholarum Award.
