Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann makes us proud to be Filipinos as she represents the country in the prestigious beauty pageant this November in China. Her contestant introduction video is currently trending online and it has garnered positive remarks.

In the video, the former athlete and TV host describes herself as “one of the boys,” but has grown into a woman of grace.

Representing the Philippines along with her “Beauty with a Purpose” campaign is what drives Laura to win. “I’ve come to realize that more than the crown on my head, and the smile that comes behind it is the heart which makes this an incredible journey," she said.
