Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista continues to make the Philippines proud as he represents the country in the upcoming China-ASEAN Friendship concert. It will be held at the Zhengshou People's Broadcast Station in Zhengzhou, Henan, China on December 8, 2017.

The newly engaged singer-actor, who was nominated by NCCA Chairman Virgilio S. Almario, will be joined by singers from Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.

"I've been blessed throughout the year having done several ASEAN events that connect me with other ASEAN performers, it is both an honor and a privilege for me to have been chosen to share our music, culture, and friendship," he said.

Christian is not new in representing the Philippines in international events. Last August 8, he was the Philippine representative in the ASEAN50 Pop Concert at the CCP grounds and BGC Global. He also sang for the ASEAN Music and Culinary Festivities in Vientiane, Lao PDR in November last year.

In 2012, the Kapuso star received the ASEAN Youth Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to young people in Asia through his music. He is also the first Filipino celebrity to be featured in a Spotify playlist ad.
