Kapuso star LJ Reyes is entering a new chapter on Christmas day. She is turning 30 at the end of the year while her beau, Paolo Contis, is 33.

Are wedding bells ringing for the couple yet? The actress told GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview, “Wala pa.” She added, “Let’s see in the future. Importante talaga na masaya, and you take things slowly but surely. You pray for the perfect time, and the right path for you.”

LJ shared the status of her relationship with the actor, “Okay naman, happy pa rin. I feel siguro it’s [going to] be an adventure for me.”

Her son Aki who is already seven years old is still her top priority, “I want to give more time to my son kasi weekdays [ay] hindi ko siya nakakasama unlike before noong hindi pa siya nagsku-school na anytime I can be with him. Ngayon kasi, meron na siyang sariling schedule so I really have to adjust.”

She added, “If it’s the weekend, you have to spend time with him, and you have to spend it the way he wants to kasi that’s quality time for them.”
