Bumisita sa Siargao ang dalawang kandidata ng Miss Universe 2017 na sina Miss Canada Lauren Howe at Miss Malaysia Samantha James matapos silang imbitahan ni Miss Philippines Rachel Peters.

Pero dahil sa masungit na panahong dala ng bayong Urduja, na-cancel ang flights nila at stranded sila sa isla.

Gayunpaman, nanatiling positibo ang dalawang beauty queens.

"Even if things are going wrong, you can't help but find reasons to smile here in the Philippines," sulat ni Howe sa kanyang Instagram account. 

 

Although having three flights cancelled in Siargao due to a Typhoon isn’t fun, someone recently said “even if things are going wrong, you can’t help but find reasons to smile here in the Philippines” (smiles aside, I pray everyone stays safe in this weather - this photo was during a break in the storm).
