Jolina Magdangall has been keeping us updated through Fanatxt, and we’ve got a fresh batch of stories of her adventures here and abroad as she goes continent-hopping for her various projects. Here are some of her Fanatxt messages: April 6, 2008: Hi! 6:30 a.m. ngaun d2 sa Genova. Kanina lang 2 am natapos un shooting namin. Nagpeprepare na ko papuntang Savona para sumakay ng cruise ship. April 7, 2008: Hi! Hilung-hilo kami d2 [sa] barko sa lakas ng alon at hangin.Nsa gitna pa kami ng dagat papuntang Naples. Grabe ang lamig d2. April 8, 2008: Hi! Ngaun lang naka-dock ang barko d2 sa Palermo kaya ngaun lang ult ako naka-text. Walang signal sa gitna ng dagat. Marami kaming isu-shoot d2. April 10, 2008: Hi! Nasa gitna kami ng dagat papuntang Palma de Mallorca. 8:30 am ngaun d2. Mga 2 pm kami dadating dun para mag-shoot. Magbe-breakfast muna ako. April 11, 2008: Hi! D2 na kami sa Barcelona, Spain. 6 am ngaun d2. Breakfast muna bago mag-make up. Marami kasi kaming eksena na kukunan ngaun. Cge ingat. April 14, 2008: Hi! D2 na kami sa Savona. 7 am na d2. Mamaya bababa na kami ng ship tapos biyahe na ng Genoa tuloy na sa Milan. Cge ingat. April 15, 2008: Hi! Kakadating ko lang ngaun d2 sa Manila. Ang init. Nainterview ako ng Startalk n showbiz Central. April 16, 2008: In this film I had to walk n run on d streets of Venice in a wedding gown. :-) dba friend? Ano masasabi mo dun? Cge ingat! :-) April 17, 2008: Hi! Taping na naman ako ng Pinoy Idol ngaun. Grabe, wala pa kong 2log. 3 am na natapos kanina tuloy na sa unang hirit tapos d2 ulit! Speaking of Pinoy Idol, iGMA was able to catch up with Jolina after her Unang Hirit taping to chat about the show. For instance, we asked her if she has a favorite contestant already. “Hindi favorite—na mayroon siyang ibubuga,” Jolina clarifies, adding that she has already spotted a guy and a girl who have potential to be the first Pinoy Idol. She shares a snippet about a particular female contestant. “Iba siya. Hindi ko nga alam kung dapat i-make over yun, pero kailangan ayusin lang nang konti yung ngipin. Tsaka ako, pag nagju-judge ng boys, [dapat] kinilig ako! Kasi viewer ako, di ba? Pag kumakanta ka, di ba dapat para kang nanliligaw ng audience? Pero kung kumakanta ka lang at iniisip mo, ‘Perfect pitch ba ako?’ mararamdaman yun ng manonood, e.” How did she feel during the times when she and the other judges disagreed on their decisions? “Minsan nga, si tito Wyngard (Tracy) at Ogie (Alcasid), nagye-yes sila, pero kailangan ko panindigan sa akin na ‘No,’ as a girl, ‘No!’ E ayoko naman noong, ‘Ay, nag-yes sila, baka magalit sila sa akin.’ Wala akong naging ganoon. At hindi laging nagko-comment para lang masabing naka-comment.
