Congratulations, mga Kapuso!
GMA News reporter Joseph Morong and DZBB senior radio correspondent Rowena Salvacion were awarded in this year's Rotary Club of Manila (RCM) Journalism Awards. It was held yesterday, May 17, at the New World Hotel Ballroom in Ayala Center, Makati City.
The RCM Journalism Awards was organized in 1967 to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals in the tri-media namely print, television, and radio.
Joseph Morong received the Journalist of the Year award, while Rowena Salvacion won Radio Female Broadcaster of the Year.
The awardees were carefully deliberated upon by the Journalism Awards Committee with the concurrence by the General Assembly.
