Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez remembered the first man in her life, her father Gerardo “Mang Gerry” Velasquez who’s now in heaven.

Gone but not forgotten: Happy Father's Day in heaven

The actress-singer shared a short poem dedicated to her deceased dad this Father’s Day.

She said, “I know you’re watching me in heaven, I know you’re holding me and loving me, I know you hear me sing from heaven, You’re clapping so loud and always so proud, My first man in my life.”

Mang Gerry was laid to rest in 2014, and shall always live in Mrs. Alcasid’s memory, “I will always miss you. Happy Father’s Day Papa! I love you!”
