Hindi inaasahan ng former Miss Universe 2016 Pia Wutzbach na magiging kontrobersyal ang naging Instagram (IG) post niya tungkol sa pagiging breadwinner sa murang edad.

Mababasa sa IG post ng beauty queen noong October 6 na marami siyang hirap na pinagdaanan noong bata siya na minsan ay kinailangan pa niyang magtrabaho sa isang factory.

Isang netizen naman ang nagkomento sa post na ito ng aktres at tinanong kung ano ang ginagawa ng mga magulang niya at bakit siya hinayaang kumayod para sa buong pamilya.

“Im confused and curious. What were they doing when u were 11? Just sits around waiting for u to come home from work? #childabuseawareness.”

Agad nilinaw ni Pia ang social media post niya at sinabi nito na ginusto niya na maging breadwinner. Binigyan diin nito na walang sino man ang pumilit sa kaniya.

“Ah yes I understand how my caption could make you think that way. What I mean was I stepped in to be the breadwinner of my family because I eventually had the most income through my modeling and acting career as a kid.

“It was my decision to help my family. They never forced me. But of course mahirap yun.”

Ikinasal ang ina ni Pia na si Ms. Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall sa kaniyang ama na si Uwe Wurtzbach noong November 11, 1983. Nabalitaan naman ng beauty queen ang pagkamatay ng kaniyang ama taong 2014.
