Well, after showcasing her amazing talent in the court, the 5'10 beauty has decided to run for public office in Brazil.

According to a story published on foxsports.ph, Ms. Barros won a Senate seat in the Federal District in Brazil.

The information came from a Tweet by Volleywood.

Former Ateneo volleybelle Charo Soriano reacted to the news that Leila Barros is now a public servant.

She tweeted, “She was also the reason why I wanted to be No. 8 & why I wanted to play volleyball when I was in grade school.
