Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina gave advice for beauty pageant titleholders and aspirants.

She wrote on Instagram, "It's been two years since Miss Universe and it's been such a wonderful journey to represent my country and to have welcomed the girls to my home land.

"Now seeing pictures of these young ladies going off to Thailand to compete, I have one thing to say, take pictures and make endless memories. Because no matter what, the bond, experience, and friendship that you guys will make will last forever."

It's been 2 years since @missuniverse and it's been such a wonderful journey to represent my country and to have welcomed the girls to my home land. Now seeing pictures of these young ladies going off to Thailand to compete, I have 1 thing to say... TAKE PICTURES and make ENDLESS MEMORIES because no matter what- the bond, experience and friendship that you guys will make will last forever! To our Miss Universe 2018 @catriona_gray goodluck and HAVE FUN we will be cheering for you till the end! 😘
