READ: Lolit Solis likens AlDub to Christopher de Leon-Vilma Santos love team

Veteran showbiz columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis believes that the love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza is like the pairing of Christopher de Leon and Vilma Santos.

In an Instagram post, Lolit explained that both Alden and Maine both feel better now compared to before, and they are doing what they want.

She wrote, “Gusto ko iyon balita na mas magaan na ngayon ang pakiramdam nila Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza dahil wala nang pressure at wala na rin masyado iyon mga negatibong bagay na lagi na ay nagbibigay ng bigat sa tambalan nila.

"Gusto ko rin ugali ni Maine, na basta gusto niya gawin, gagawin niya at hindi pumapayag magpa-dikta sa kilos niya.

“Medyo matapang na rin si Alden at pumapayag ng makipareha sa iba.”

She then mentioned about one of the most popular love team in the '80s, Christopher de Leon and Vilma Santos.

Lolit said, “Up to now, isa sa pinakamalakas na tambalan sila Christopher de Leon at Vilma Santos kahit pa nga sa tunay na buhay iba ang naging love nila.

“Puwedeng ganun din si Alden at Maine, malakas [na] tambalan kahit iba naman mahal nila.

“Kasi kahit ano sabihin, iyon chemistry nila Alden at Maine ganun pa rin kalakas, iba ang electric voltage pag sila magkasama.

In the end, Lolit suggested, “Kaya dapat gawan pa rin sila ng project together dahil sure na magugustuhan pa rin ito ng manunood.”

After their television film Love Is…, Alden was paired up with Janine Guitierrez and Andrea Torres in Victor Magtanggol while Maine starred in 2018 MMFF movie Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles with Coco Martin.
