Isang kakaibang Martin del Rosario ang mapapanood sa kanyang pagganap bilang Barbs sa pelikulang Born Beautiful.
Ang Born Beautiful ay ang sequel ng Die Beautiful na pelikula ni Paolo Ballesteros para sa 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Ayon sa post ng award-winning journalist na si Inday Espina-Varona ay kitang kita ang talento ni Martin sa pag-arte sa pelikulang kanyang pinagbibidahan.
"Martin Del Rosario shines as Barbs, enchanting even as she stumbles through crises."
Kanyang isinulat rin ang bilis ni Martin sa pagpapalit ng emosyon na ipinapakita bilang Barbs sa pelikula.
"Del Rosario is quicksilver in his shifts from ditzy pageant queen, despairing conversion therapy volunteer, to empowered woman -- at least, her version of empowerment.
"Barbs is a fully fleshed-out character, warts and all, not like the men who vie for her affections. They're really just caricatures. The magic dust sprinkled doesn't mask that fact that they're one-dimensional characters. But the screenplay does justice to the character played by Chai Fonancier, who adds to the delirium in beautiful Barb's life."
Mapapanood ang Born Beautiful ngayong January 23.
