discussed the global topic on the refugees and why she wanted to show her support to UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, Atom Araullo.

She started off by pledging and asking others to help families who showed courage in the time of crisis.

“Families who had no choice but to retreat make huge and unimaginable attempts and efforts to get by. To show our unyielding support, during a time where more global crises are causing people to flee, let us come together and offer our praise and support to their resilience and perseverance.”

Ashley added that this movement will not just aid the refugees but for people to recognize their strength and courage in the middle of disarray. She said, “It is moments like these that give people like us, people who are capable, an opportunity to help those who have been robbed. Through this movement, we will show our cooperation, build better awareness of refugees, and raise funds to aid them in living the lives they once had before all the chaos erupted.

In line with her call for support to the refugees, Ash also encouraged her followers to support Atom Araullo as the newly appointed UNCHR Goodwill Ambassador.

“Congratulations to @atomaraullo for being appointed as a UNCHR Goodwill Ambassador! This is only a testament to your dedication in uncovering and bringing awareness to the unfortunate but relevant issues of today. We hope you continue to narrate the stories of the people who were never heard and give voice to those with none.”

She also disclosed why this is the perfect time to show love, care, and empathy for everyone.

“At a time where apathy and indifference are everywhere, let's show compassion to those who need it. Not because we are asked to, but because we can. Nothing will get better unless we take the initiative to encourage, help and empower. Change only begins when we do our part in society. So now, come and join us as we walk in solidarity with the families forced to abandon their homes and rebuild a life they have only been dreaming of.”
