Ehra does the unexpected in Lupin, where she proves that sexy outfits look good with knives.
Yes, you heard it right – knives. Ehra plays Briggitte, an orphan raised to become a knife-fighting thief. Eventually, circumstance will bring Lupin (Richard Gutierrez), Ashley (Katrina Halili), and Briggitte together, and that’s when the heist fest begins! Text by: Jillian Q. Gatcheco
“’Yung una, parang akala lang nila, just for the sake na magnanakaw, (gagawin namin). Pero later on in the story, may reason kung bakit nagnanakaw si Lupin, and kung bakit kami ‘yung kasama niya,” Ehra reveals.

Ehra’s excited to bond with her co-stars in the series, because even though she’s worked with them in past guestings (except for Katrina Halili, who was in
Majika (2006) with her), this is the only time where they could really get to know each other.
“Si Rhian (who will play Avril), nakasama ko sa special show na
The Score. (I look forward to working with her) kasi makulit ‘yun, eh! Marami siyang chika, madaldal, makulit. Kung ano nafi-feel niya, sinasabi niya, wala siyang pakialam, so natutuwa ako! Si Kat naman, naka-work ko na siya sa
Majika, pero konti lang naman mga scenes namin, kung baga parati kami ngayon mas magkasama, tawa lang kami nang tawa! Si Chard, sa
SOP lang naman, at
Nuts Entertainment."

What kind of Ehra Madrigal can we expect from Briggitte?
“Action star!” she replies excitedly. “Naka-sexy outfits kami, pero ‘yung mga ginagawa namin, puro action!
Part of Ehra’s training include juggling the knives and aiming them at targets. “Tapos mayroon pang mga counting na one....two....basta nakakahingal, kung baga talagang physical na labanan, hindi tulad ng baril na kahit malayo, okay lang. As in sobrang parang martial arts! Pero enjoy naman!”
She adds, “Mayroon parang exhibition na tinuro sa akin, pero nahihirapan pa ako, kasi ‘yung pag-ikot kunwari ng knife, ang nahahawakan ko, ‘yung blade! Siyempre dapat handle hahawakan ko!”
Apart from knife training, Ehra also had to learn how to drive for the series – a slight problem for her, because she has a fear of being behind the wheel.
“I don’t know how to drive!” the 21-year old admits. “Sabi nila, ‘Naku, Ehra, kailangan, turuan ka namin!’ Ewan ko, feeling ko may phobia ako pag nagda-drive, natatakot talaga ako! Tapos siguro marami rin, (kasi) sa first scene pa lang, nagda-drive (na) ako ng speed boat, tapos may underwater scene din kami ni Chard, tapos nagda-drive din ako in the future yata, baka ng motor! So excited ako, pero good luck!”
There’s only one way to find out whether Ehra conquered her fear. Watch out for
