Kapuso leading man Alden Richards shared his reaction with GMANetwork.com when he was first approached about doing a movie with Kathryn Bernardo and Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina.

"It's been a while since my last film and I was really asking the management baka mayroon nang project, baka pwede tayong gumawa ng pelikula.

"Fortunately, nag-approach 'yung Star Cinema and sinabi nila if pwede raw ba akong gumawa ng film with them.

"Of course, I immediately said yes pero siyempre, andami pa rin pinagdaanan before we really got here where we are now.

"Now that we're doing a movie, I'm honored, happy, and excited to do this because it's something new for me," said Alden in an exclusive interview.

Alden is set to begin filming this April but for now, he is busy preparing for his role.

"I've been losing weight a lot, I've been taking Cantonese lessons, tapos magkakaroon pa ng ibang lessons prior to the role so surprise kung ano 'yung magiging role namin ni Kathryn [Bernardo] diyan. I should sound like a local Hong Kong resident, 'yan ang isang clue," the actor shared.

Lastly, he is most looking forward to getting to know the different cast and crew that he will work with on the film.

"It's my first time to be working with the people of Star Cinema. Now, I'm really excited to see how these people work as a team. Being with them for the preparation, parang it's gonna be a fun shoot."
