Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz is set to appear on hit US TV series Insatiable as herself.

Gloria revealed her guest appearance by posting a picture with 'Insatiable' lead actor Dallas Roberts on her Instagram account.

"I am excited/nervous/feels like I am a beginner/can't remember my lines/and just totally overwhelmed," she wrote.

Insatiable is about Patty Bladell, an overweight teenager who became thin because of an accident.

Beauty pageant coach Bob Armstrong, played by Dallas, then turned her into a beauty queen.

Its first season premiered on Netflix last August 2018.
