Kapuso love team Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix land their first movie lead roles in the upcoming horror film, Banal.
With them are Andrea Brillantes, Taki, and Kim Last.
In the movie, a group of young students goes on a summer hike up a mountain. Despite various warnings they receive along the way, the group presses on as the mountain is said to grant miracles to those who reach the top.
Things take a scary turn after the group stumbles upon strange stick figures tied to tree trunks in the middle of the forest.
Banal is produced by APT Entertainment and will premiere on May 29 in cinemas nationwide.
