With more than a month to prepare, Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao had already started his training in preparation for his match with undefeated boxer Keith Thurman.
And together with his team, Manny flew to Los Angeles Saturday evening (June 16, Manila time) and began his training days after.
By Monday morning, he's up and about with his exercise routines like jogging around Griffith Park and doing some ab crunches afterward.
Pacquiao will be training at the Wild Card Gym for approximately four weeks and will be sparring with Tim Tszyu, son of former world champion Kostya Tszyu.
By July 15, he will then travel to Las Vegas to prepare for the match set on July 20 at the MGM Grand.
The 30-year old boxer Keith Thurman holds a perfect 29-0 record, with 22 knockouts, and has vowed to send Pacman into retirement.
On the other hand, Pacquiao remains unfazed and even mentioned in previous interviews that he is not affected by his opponent's trash talk.
He said, 'Yung motivation ko is unang-una being 40 years old I want to prove that at the age of 40, I can still fight.
“And being a public servant, busy rito pero maipapakita ko na kaya kong idisiplina ang sarili ko na makapaglaan ng time para sa sports.”
