A well-known personality and host, Sweet is known for his frank and naughty spiels. Anong ibang mga truths kaya ang lalabas during his live chat? Find out!
In a recent blog by John Lapus entitled 'Kawawang Bakla,' a lot of people were moved by Sweet's honest and matter-of-fact observations tungkol sa treatment ng mga bakla or bading sa ating society. No one can deny these remarks, for they are indeed true. A well-known personality and host, Sweet is known for his frank and naughty spiels especially in his segment in Showbiz Central - 'Love Me, Hate Me, But Don't Lie to Me.' So we were not surprised when a lot of people reacted to his blog entry on pep.com.ph. Text by Loretta G. Ramirez, Photos courtesy of GMA Network
In Sweet's blog, he gave us a sample of how insensitive some jokes are.
"Pari: Ang mga bakla ay hindi makakapasok sa langit"
"Bakla: Ok lang 'yun father, doon na lang kami sa rainbow magslide."

A reader reacted to these lines and said that "In spite of the hatred and prejudice, we still look at it in a positive way. I guess that is the main ingredient why we succeed in almost everything." Well totoo naman, a lot of gay personalities who are successful in their respective fields are known for their positive outlook in life. Ganoon talaga siguro, in life you always have a choice whether bakla ka or hindi, to look at life's challenges in a positive or negative way.
"Ang mga bakla, masaya kasama. Maingay, nakakatawa at hindi boring. Come to think of it. Hindi rin pala kami masyadong kawawa. Mga Bakla , tara na sa Rainbow at mag-slide-slide in this particular order:
RED- Mga baklang pa-girl, operada at mukhang babae. Go, mga sisters!
ORANGE- Mga batang bakla. Slide na, mga anak!
GREEN- Mga paminta, mukhang lalaki, members ng guys4men.com. Slide na, mga pare!
YELLOW- Mga baklang may asawa at anak. You deserved to be happy. Slide na!
VIOLET- Mga baklang bisexual, dito kayo kasi alanganing red, alanganing blue. Go!
INDIGO- Mga baklang Diva at Mama. Halina mga sisters. Mama Ricky, kapit lang po mabuti. Sunod na po ako in a while.
BLUE- Mga baklang tago at ayaw umamin, dito kayo. Don't worry, we understand. Alam ko, kawawa din kayo. Sssshhhh."

A reader reacted to this and found Sweet's color coding scheme amusing.
"'Yung unang response ko blue ako dahil kahit feeling ko 'people think I am out but I'm (definitely, exclusively) NOT!' Dito lang naman sa blog na ito ako out."
Indeed, maraming na-touch ang
Kawawang Bakla. Alam natin na nangyayari ito at aware naman tayo sa mga pinagdadaanan ng mga gays sa society natin but somehow it really made an impact when someone who is a famous personality such as Sweet, makes his sentiments public for us to realize at sabihin "Ah oo nga! Bakit nga ba ganoon?"
