And during the short time he was with all his friends and loved ones, they can only have good praises for him. Text by Erick Mataverde. Interview excerpts from Startalk. Photos by Mitch Mauricio. Sa isang special ng Startalk nitong Sabado, the show paid tribute to Marky Cielo and remembered the times and memories with his friends, co-actors and everyone who got to know this young man. Direk Quark Henares only has praises on Marky's acting, "Si Marky ano ha, sobrang magaling siya, especially very automatic 'yung, you know, hindi mo kailangan i-motivate masyado." And even during his early years in Starstruck, si Joey de Leon ay impressed kaagad sa kanyang talent, "Si Marky mula nung umpisa eh nakakitaan na namin, kaming tatlo si LT (Lorna Tolentino) at si Direk Louie (Ignacio) na siya 'yung pinaka well-rounded sa mga contestants." It's really a very deep loss for us." Likewise Direk Domic Zapanta feels for family for the loss of their son, "Gusto kong masabi ito. Kasi I feel for [Marky's] mom. Ako mahal ko 'yung nanay ko, siguro ito nalang ang our own little way how we could siguro makabawas doon makabigay ng kaunting ginhawa sa mommy niya. Na malaman po ninyo Tita na maganda po 'yung pagpapalaki sa anak ninyo, napaka walang ka ere-ere, simula po nung makilala po namin yan na bilang Starstruck hanggang ngayon sikat na siya." "Marami nang nagsasabi nito eh na parang bihira na 'yung mga katulad ni Marky na totoong good boy na ire-respeto mo. Parang bihira na ngayon 'yung mga ganun," ang sabi ni Janno Gibbs "I could say that he's a really good person, tsaka hindi nakakalimot bumati yan. Sobrang magalang and sobrang nakakahinayang because he's too young and such a nice person," ang banggit naman ni Sunshine Dizon tungkol sa late actor.
