The holidays always inspire fond trips down memory lane. Our Kapuso stars talk about their favorite Christmas memories.
Whenever tatanungin mo ang sarili mo, ano yung mga most memorable moments sa buhay mo you usually remember Christmastime. Hindi ako makahintay. Mahilig ako mag-peek kung ano 'yung regalo, kung nakuha ko ba 'yung gusto kong gift, yun. Ano pa ba? Ah, tsaka 'yung bumibili kami sa Clark ng 'yung puno talaga, yun, nami-miss ko yun. JC Tiuseco : Kasi mga relatives ko rin, nasa States na halos lahat. Ilan na lang kami nandito. So pag Christmas, kunwari Uncle ko, doon lang sila sa house nila; kami nasa house namin. Tapos kinabukasan na lang magkikita-kita. Parang hindi na sobrang big deal. Hindi katulad nung bata pa ako na halos lahat ng relatives ko nandyan. Lolit Solis: In my case, galing kami sa slum area ng Sampaloc, tapos my father was just a jeepney driver, my mother was just a housewife. Nakatira kami sa maliit na bahay, tapos nakakatikim kayo ng manok pag Christmas, and yet akala ko normal yun. Also when I was in college, ang tingin ko sa bahay namin ang ganda pagka-Pasko kahit na yung mumurahing lace, lalagyan ng nanay ko ng lace, parang iniisip ko kapantay din ng mga [decoration] sa mga [mayayamang] subdivision. Ricky Davao: The most memorable Christmas sa akin malungkot. Marami namang masayang Pasko. Marami akong memorable at happy na Christmas, pero 'yung talaga pag tinanong kung ano yung pinaka hindi mo makalimutang Christmas, its tragic. John "Sweet" Lapus: Of all occasions talaga yung mga bata pag Pasko ang saya-saya nila, other than birthdays. Rainier Castillo: 'Twing Christmas kasi, nagiging masaya sa lahat, nagsa sama-sama lahat. Tipong wala munang problemang iisipin. Basta lahat ng tao relax. Michael V : This is our first Christmas with a new baby girl. A first Christmas in our new home. Maraming firsts na mangyayari ngayong Christmas. Richard Gomez: Christmas is more special to us now. Unlike before, Christmas is just celebrating with some friends. But now Christmas is really a family event. I have evolved from being a bachelor to a family man. As a matter of fact we've put up three Christmas trees, medium sized. Unlike in the past we only had one big tree. Because Julianna wanted to decorate her own Christmas tree. Her Christmas tree is colored lime, mine is blue and Lucy's is colored magenta.
