Heart Evangelista broke her silence on the relationship status of her parents, Cecilia and Reynaldo Ongpauco.


In her recent posts, Heart shared some photos of the birthday celebration of her father.

Celebrating my Dad's birthday today but in all honesty, he deserves a celebration everyday! He has brought so much love and light into the world and in our lives, so I feel so blessed to have a father like him. 😊⁣ ⁣ Dad, Happy Birthday. ❤ You went through so much this year and came out so, so strong. I couldn't be more proud of you. Here's to more years of health and happiness. 😊 I love you. ❤

However, questions regarding the absence of her mother started to pour in. An Instagram user who goes by the handle @ka.ra7016 asked, "hindi ko po nakikita ang Mommy mo sa family niyo po. Asaan po cya?"

Heart responded that her parents are no longer together.

The StarStruck judge wrote, "They separated long time ago."
